Looks like Y-2 is being drilled deeper than Y-1 gas sands equivalent, at Laurel Fm level, to the Nullara-equivalent carbonates. I don't think Y-1 drilled to this deeper level. Might be mkt expectation of something interesting here. After all, they were surprised by the cavernous porosity at Stokes B-1.

In addition, as Y-2 nears completion Stokes Bay looms over the horizon. The re-test of SB-1 will focus punters' attention big-time. Some may be buying tickets to this action :)
