Have been focusing on programming in MQL5, planning to go live with an EA based off a strategy that uses Ichimoku and a TDI on the 4 Hour chart.

Would like to hear anyone's opinion on their ideal back-testing length, I personally think it depends on how frequently the EA place's trade's. My current EA I've back-tested from 2012-Current and found the results to be outstanding. Although when i look at the volume of trades placed, I'm beginning to think even these results arent reliable.
