So your investment strategy is top down? Surely if you believe the gold price is going to go up your best investment would be in those companies which will benefit most from such a rise? AAJ is about the potential to make a major discovery which will dramatically boost the SP if they do. The effect of the gold price will be negligible if they do make such a discovery.

Whilst you wait and wait the SP is down from its 4 cent high and has halved his year. During that time surely you would want to make better use of your capital? By all means keep a watch list, but the biggest single advantage a retail investor has is the ability to be active in managing their portfolios rather than passive.

If they get another round of negative results then watch the sp drop like a stone in water. Would you really sit through another 50% plus drop in your investment?

Message to all do not become emotionally attached to your investment manage your capital especially your losses. Hoping and averaging down are very high risk plays which generally end in wealth destruction.

For your nformation I have just invested back into a number of gold stocks as I also believe the gold price will have a solid run in the next 6 months.
