Re the move. I used to live in Qld, and its a very parochial place ... dare I say, not unlike WA! Queenslanders STILL talk about how Bondy changed the address on the XXXX can to his Perth address and so they stopped drinking it. Bondy saw the sales drop and changed it back - but made a worse mistake still as he used "Milton Rd, Milton" rather than "11 Finchly Place, Milton". It was eventually changed to the original side street address - but damage already done. One of Bondy's many egotistical mistakes.

So ... NRW may be being smart and not trying to make it look like a WA company has taken over a Qld company and potentially offend their Qld customer base. Just a thought.

Sabine - WAM have been great for me (and hopefully for you). My annual pre-tax return has averaged 29%pa over the last 8-9years! WAX even better at 37% over 9yrs. But I'm really uncomfortable holding LIC's on 20%-30% premiums to NTA. My musings are trying to justify to myself why I still hold them when they're trading at such high premiums!

If you like risk and infrastructure - maybe VRS is worth a look to invest some of the upcoming NRW or WAM dividends? See notes on VRS thread. Up 5% today.
