    Hi Astroider

In interesting tangent to this is the current mobilisation of Turkish Special Forces and equipment into Idlib.

My wild guess is that its a token gesture, maybe to secure their so-called observation posts as the Iranians drive by. Idlib maybe the price Turkey has been asked to pay for partial rescue of its tottering economy.

My gut feel is that the US, GB, Germany and France will happily sit on the sidelines hoping for deals between non-HTS rebel groups and Assad. I'm not sure of this. I maybe wrong because I don't follow this as closely as I used to. We can only wait and see.

For the benefit of Putin's posters here, shock and awe doesn't work in Syria. If it's on the table it shouldn't be.

    cheers
