This move reminds me that prior to the halt I recall RC said something about 'leasing' some of the equipment needed for the production line. I think at that stage there was a review . I bet they simply realised they had too much capital tied up in little used capital equipment. So came to an arrangement. I distinctly remember RC saying that selling chemicals was not a large enough revenue base for the company to formulate a business plan around. The chems are just to cheap. Thats why the talk about partnerships, similar business arrangements based on actual panels out the door. If it stops them going broke, Im reluctantly going to say its a good move. Bottom line is we must stay afloat, continue internal progress, get new finance asap.
Think about it like this. If it wasn't for the need to build a prodnt line we'd have enough money to roll along as we always have. This problem is a function of the readiness of our development roadmap. So just a step back perspective. The lag in time this funding shortfall has given us allows for the technology to be further tested and tinkered with. Might be a good thing in hindsight. I stay hopeful.
