For anyone interested in more reading about the Sunshine route (first stage of the project)

As to how we are doing on our current massive government rail project; the Perth Forrestfield Rail Link Joint Venture with Salini - it’s all systems go, (with a populat Facebook page worth looking in on https://m.facebook.com/forrestfieldairportlink/)
ie the company has been performing very well at FAL which gives us an excellent reputation to build on ...especially considering that amongst competitors is current scandal around RCR Tomlinson which has led to senior management stepping down, as well as Spanish-owned Cimic currently in the Australian courts facing corruption charges https://www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...ghton-corruption-scandal-20180523-p4zgxn.html .... (whilst Leighton quickly and tactfully changed its name to ‘Cimic’ it’s still the same business!)
NB to me that’s a consideration but to NRW it’s not.
This company has no need knock other players out of the spotlight .
Management here is famous for integrity and for doing exactly what it says it will do faster and better than expected.
Therefore (beyond general enthusiasm) the point of posting is to consider the ramifications of NRW’s expressed intent to expand geographically and in terms of the diversity of its offering.
This can not be viewed as anything other than a point blank statement of intent. .
Since acquiring Golding, NRW Holdings has the highest national rating under the Main Roads National Prequalification System.
We are R5 B4 F150+
Seems to me, now Golding’s been digested, Jules and Golding CEO, Geoff Caton, et al are looking forward to making full use of this rating.
With this in mind, given we are pre-selected to tender for upcoming infrastructure projects beyond just railways, the potential is also enormous looking at NSW as well as Victoria
Here’s a link to a Sydney Morning Herald report on infrastructure developments in Sydney .
I don’t when it was published but it seems current , https://www.smh.com.au/interactive/2016/sydney2026/chapter1.html
