I was expecting further selling today, so I occupied myself elsewhere to ride things out here and let it all blow over. So surprised to see the modest gains. Normally after such strong gains and the inevitable strong retrace, it doesn't stop until it reaches the typical 50% Fib (.067) or a gap (.072). It has done neither - yet.

To me, this is the power of a small and mighty register, and of course, great FA. If we had a million day traders and a billion shares, we'd be sitting much lower now as the course of events played out its natural course.

Anyway, on another note, I dipped into the big caps this morning with a buy at BAL's opening. That's the last dance I'll attend for a while.
