Having studied the table on p37 some more I now believe that the figures do not in fact add up and that the table is incorrect.

I agree @Klogg that the allowances made for doubtful debts are extremely low particularly compared to competitors such as MNY (and thank you for your overview - I found it very helpful) With a rapidly growing, full recourse car loan pool I will be watching this table closely over time as it will be a key indicator as to the quality of loans.

It is always easy to lend money out, the tough bit is judging who won't pay it back.
So far so good.
