Oh boy, does that sound familiar. I emmigrated from Greece back in 2010 and thought I left behind me the last socialist/leftist utopia in the developed world for good.
Certainly wasn't expecting to see this kind of government interventions here!
By the way, here's the SP chart of the PPC, which is like Greece's AGL and Origin combined, essentially they have been playing by themselves in the energy market, transmission and generation until the last few years and while public listed the government and syndicates run most of it.
We're talking about one of the top 3-4 companies in terms of market cap in Greece. So what happened is like Telstra losing -90% in 10 years after the GFC. TLDR, socialism and leftist government involvement blows!
