But as a novice still in the tasting room right now savouring the style whilst waiting for the other judges to pronounce, I’m thinking well structured (as we have come to expect) nothing too aggressive, a lot of backbone, and that this is no nonsense vintage which maintains the clean and somewhat austere profile favoured by producers in recent years yet has an enormous depth and added complexity due to the addition of Golding which will increase it’s cellaring capacity remarkably ..
