Lots of expensive development work in the Carnarvon Basin to go. STO paid too much and shouldn't be taking on more debt imo. For a fraction of $2B they could snap up small companies in PNG sitting on highly prospective as well as proven tenements eg KPL, HZN to add to the PNG LNG Project. This is a rash and reckless TO imo and the market will mark the SP down.
