Thanks for that. I’m a bit bitter about CDM. It was the first LIC I bought it’s about the same price it listed at. It’s had virtually no capital growth since it listed. It has paid dividends though. I sold it at $1.34 after buying it at $1.19 not long after it listed. And I’m not 500% better off like they quote.

I think they short the long positions they lose money on so they have the loss but they don’t impact their tax and franking only selling stocks that have made a profit.

Anyway as I said I’m bitter about that one. They have only one motivation which is raising money.
