Just found this: To the extent that holders may find individual details in each notice useful —
for example, for the purpose of collectively resisting a compulsory acquisition —the Corporations Act already makes specific provision for holders’ rights. In a post -bid compulsory acquisition holders may ask the bidder for the names and addresses of each other holder that has been given a notice and the notice of compulsory acquisition must inform them of this right: see s661B(1)(a)(ii)(A) and 661D. In a general compulsory acquisition, the notice must inform holders of their right under s173 to obtain the names and addresses of other remaining holders from the company register: s664C(1)(c)(i).
