Below I have plotted the average grades of Cu,Zn,Pb, Au and Ag from the 9 new ADT drill holes at Rupice against grade-tonnage plots for the three subtypes of VMS deposits in the USGS report that I've referred to earlier in this thread (ie Mafic, Bimodal-Mafic and Felsic). Remember this set of data comprises all 1,091 know global VMS deposits as at 2010.
Based on the high grades of Zn, Pb, and Ag found at Rupice there is a very low statistical probability that Rupice is a Mafic type VMS deposit IMO and therefore also a an extremely low chance of it being a Bessih-type deposit (according to USGS VMS deposit type and sub-type classifications) as was suggested in the CSA Global independent geological report in the ADT IPO prospectus.
I'll discuss the implications for Rupice's genetic type and how these plots can help define the likely size expectation for Rupice, if it is in fact a VMS deposit and not a SEDEX deposit, in another post. Some of you might be able to see for yourselves and give some interpretations based on these plots. For the moment here are the plots.Esh
