Ignore the noises, when you invest in the right business model it will take care of itself over a long period of time with a few bruised here and there along the way.
All I can say is when you have identified the right business you load up when it run into a bit of turbulence especially when it get knocked down 20%.
I have been doing to a while with nearly 100% success rate, this loss will be temporary, but your future profit is a certainty
