I asked if they were going to get a dollar per test, from Ellume for the flu test, but it was considered hilarious. As in, that would be nice !
So if they sell 100,000 tests in the US over the next winter, we will NOT be getting $100,000
They sell for $20 each. If I had an iphone and really loved playing with technology and l had the flu, I'm would buy a test. But personally I dont even go to the doctor when I have the flu. I stay in bed until its over.
I would think some private/exclusive type hospitals will use it. $20 for a quick confirmation that the patient has the flu. Could work.
How many culd Ellume sell in the US this coming winter(our summer) ? Who could really know in reality. A very small percentage of total cases from last year ? I dont know these numbers. So I googled.
