About the Role
The Project Spatial Data Officer undertakes tasks related to Geographical and Spatial Data management systems. Your day to day will focus on classifying building types and measuring habitable floor levels using Nearmap and Google Streetview.
You will be accountable for assigned project tasks and negotiate with customers in order to ensure that projects are completed on time and within the agreed scope whilst complying with procedures and work instructions. About you
The ability to use GIS software to a moderate level of competency.
The ability to use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products to a moderate level of competency.
Skills and experience in delivering high quality spatial data. Ability to harness this data to deliver projects within time and budget targets.
Demonstrated high-level communication skills including consultative, interpersonal, report writing and negotiation.
Desirable
Nearmap and/or Google Street view experience.
Experience with flooding and/or building spatial data.
