It is very important that the silicon is dispersed evenly, so silicon and carbon ALL connect. The wettability/good dispersion can achieve this.
That way you can get that uniform equation i.e. 10% is 100%, 20% is %200 etc. I asked why they didn't put the %300 improvement based on 30% silicon but it was a stretch making such claims too early and they are confident enough to be conservative and to avoid legal hassles.

The confidence thing is subjective. They were in sales mode. I understand that. But MS was sure about the dispersion and so the prospects appear good.
