I made similar mistakes buying AKK back in the day, reacting on their announcements and believing what management had to say. After all I didn't believe they could blatantly lie when providing information to the market.

The difference was that I didn't have anyone warning me about what might just happen with my hard earned cash.

Today all new FPL investors have been warned by those who have suffered in the past. It may seem like they are down ramping but really all they are trying to do it to protect your capital.
