I strongly believe there will be other scientific breakthroughs in the very near future, just don't think they'll be as safe or as mobile. That said, it'll all come down to energy valuation, thus I feel those safety hurdles will be achieved/ red taped over. I mean nobody wants a nuclear waste facility in South Australia but its coming irrespective; kind of quasi energy related.
