So over the past few weeks I’ve been experimenting the news scalping strategy on the a few pairs, and so far USDCAD has been the most reliable pair to trade, or any pair that has CAD on it.
I’ve tried on a few other pairs like AUDUSD and NZDUSD and concluded that any high impact events won’t work on any Australian and New Zealand dollars.
Tonight I’ve extended my experiment onto GBP and the result is similar to CAD. Managed to scalp 32 pips in 1 minute.
I will keep a record and share with you all over the coming months to see which events are worth scalping.
So far they are 1) CPI index, 2) GDP, 3) Inflation report, 4) Employment rate
