Here is the average true range of this pair per week.
At present its only moving around 130 Average True Range per week but in Jan 2009, it hit a record 425 ATR.

What this chart shows us is that this pair has been offering less pips than ever before,  in a trading week.
I ask the question is it worth trading AUDUSD
