My sentiments exactly, with the knowledge gained from the announcements why wouldn't they do a JV. Looks to me like a fair strike of minerals for S32. Just await the outcome then cheer or cry until then just sit. It will be another Peruvian copper mine in the making with other minerals as an off take.
Unless you have been there to dispute it, when I worked on Constancia Mine everywhere off the lease were diggings from local miners the whole Andes mountain range is 1 big mineral deposit pushed up by the tectonic plates millions of years ago. Just like West Papua if you have ever worked at Freeport Indonesia's project in Western Papua ( Irian Jaya ) when you stand on the top of the mountain range you can see the minerals in the earths crust pushed up millions of years ago by the continental shifts.
