if i can add my 5c worth to your observations the mineralisation as currently outlined is in horizontal blankets so could be the result of supergene enrichement. deeper drilling is, as pointed out, necessary understand the potential of the mineralisation.
if the mineralisation is a supergene blanket then it is an interesting target in its own right, but given the location (under a salt lake) it would have to be pretty significant to justify digging it up. sunrise dam comes to mind, as does duketon belt with the success of regis resources - so there is good precedent for these things to become winners.
time and drilling will tell.
