Ignoring people is great but it doesn't help keep the information clean for others (new posters / investors, etc).
I prefer to Report posts and get them moderated rather than ignore them outright. A little more work, but helps to keep the place cleaner.
Also if the poster is annoying enough the mods will just ban them, which is the best kind of ignore button! ;-)
