The Speccy estimate for the individual tray is 4.5% Cu "?Eq" or 12-14% Cp (if all Chalcopyrite) after a fair bit of analysis (tumbling the numbers - a good way of describing a complex process of what is generally subjective integration by the logger(s)).

AML's estimate is for the entire 42m at some 5% Cp overall. This estimate has tumbled numbers from 0-20?+% Cp over various lengths and fracture fills etc.

Some off topic thoughts came up for me with this reply.

Enhancing in this way is a big step forward from the naked eye/hand lens of my day and is quite likely part of the technology future core loggers may use.

Not necessarily a pleasant thought that machines will be able to provide accurate real time reliable objective data on complex core trays such as these. Luddite? Change will happen in ways few (no-one) can predict.

[ Even more off topic - Walking through the bush at the beginning of GPS and computer days (can't recall a date) I imagined myself as a geo with Gandalf's Wand which I struck onto an outcrop while chanting "you shall be analysed!". GPS coords, elemental contents and a wide range of data beamed up from the "wand" to a satellite in real time into a computer data base at air conditioned head office. Variants are possible these days]

Various prototypes for core analysis exist but need fine tuning and more development before they are mainstream or affordable by other than the big end of mining companies. My experience with these is dated by some 5-10 years so the future may already be here with the pace technology advances these days.
