Farm gate prices for organic milk is at least 30% more than non organic and farmers are asking for higher farm gate prices due to higher costs of organic farming and increase demand locally for organic milk.
WHA will not be able to pass on these costs to wholesale customers as Wattle is an unknown in China and way too much competition to be able to price at a premium
