It has been reported on the SFI thread that Clearlake paid for 50% of Eagleview which values it around at US$4.4B. I can't find anything on the public record, and have asked the poster what their source is.
It seems extraordinary.
Eagleview was acquired by Vista for around US$700m in 2015. Since then they have purchased Omniearth (amount unknown) and licensed Spookfish Tech (now purchasing for US$90m).
I don't know what sort of revenue Eagleview has been generating, but that valuation seems extraordinarily high.
The big question what does this mean for Nea.
Nea is progressing nicely in Aus, and building strongly in the US. Will EV attack us at home, defend their home turf, go hard in new markets, or a combination of all three?
