The problem is that practically everything they've officially announced, or said in presentations, or especially said to the media in the last two years, relating to EMC or Ceto, has been the complete opposite of frank and honest. It's prevented shareholders from being able to make informed decisions about their investment, unless they are untrusting cynical shareholders like some of us who could spot what they were doing miles back. This is exactly why regulations exist.
I don't hope there's no legal action. I hope there is. Not necessarily from shareholders (because it might end up just consting them more money), more from the regulators. Every now and then an example needs to be made, to show other companies who might be considering the "shareholder mushroom farm" business plan that it's not a good one.
