Georgiou, Ertech win $120m road upgrade contract in western Sydney

WA contractors Georgiou Group and Ertech have won $120 million work on a NSW road project.
Their 50:50 joint venture will begin work this quarter on the three-year upgrade of a section of a major road in western Sydney.
The job will have a workforce of 120 at its peak.
It is Georgiou’s second contract on the Northern Road upgrade, having recently completed another section.
The work is part of a 10-year, $3.6 billion road investment program known as the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan.
“We look forward to partnering with Ertech on this stage and delivering another vital piece of NSW infrastructure to the community,” incoming Georgiou chief executive Robert Monaci said.
