    If you mean sell off, I hope not. This is not a market to be selling into, it is a market to buy or hold. Selling also sends a panic signal for a company like WTP because they aren't traders but builder/developers & that is the initial reason for their purchase.

    What perhaps would be a better idea is a statement demonstrating their financial strength: reiterate the order book figures, publicise the cash at bank figure, emphasise the conservative valuation (at historic cost) on property held. Taking advantage of other property groups forced sales by buying high quality assets at significant discounts might be good also.

    A substantial purchase by parties associated with the Board would also send a positive signal to the market. At these prices they would also be doing themselves a favour by increasing their holdings on the cheap - & nobody could possibly complain.
