There is a Bass Strait update in the BAS announcement this morning confirming that Apache has not released any details about Wasabi, the first drill with the new rig. Next is Coelacanth for MOG then Speke-1 for BAS on approx. March 26. After this well the rig will be release to TDO.
To my knowledge, this is the first major drilling program in the Bass Strait for decades and has been made possible by Apache creating some economies of scale with its 20+ drill program.
Success anywhere should help the local landowners/permit holders.
