I think when 3DP got into the habit of updating & displaying the exponential growth in the number of data points they are hosting, it was perhaps a little bit misleading in terms of business/revenue growth. It was being broadcast on Twitter and I think punters were sorely deflated when the 4C didn't reflect any revenues from the data being uploaded.
I've noticed they aren't updating that on social media any longer, the last update was in May - nearly a trillion data points hosted at that time. They obviously realised it wasn't a terribly useful or meaningful number.
Having said that, the Twitter feed is now a steady stream of partnerships and collaborations which all appear to be in the right space and must surely bring some solid revenues in the near term if 3DP actually have something saleable.
