Exactly the market that SLK will avoid. This is a business that has tried to build moats around their operations. Most of the markets they are in, they either have a monopoly or they are in the dominant position. Long may this continue to be the case.
This is why Perth will take longer. I am sure their aim will be to achieve a dominant position in that market too but they are starting from a smaller position there.
As for achieving $4.80, I expect a lull in the share price for a while until SLK proves itself as a sound operator of the Fraser Island resorts. This is quite a step to get big time into resorts. If they succeed, in a couple of years $4.80 will be a distant memory.
