K,
On the IRD analysis the CEIP will currently cost $3.5 billion to bring on stream.
Sentient don't have that kind of money.
The Chinese do but they seem to be playing hardball to lever the cost of their input down. Standard stuff.
On the other hand Sentient are likely to have a plan "B". All project developers have a plan "B"
So its a poker game of bluff at the moment.
We have learnt currently via Atlas Iron that port access is important.
They Gawler area will become in future an important production area for magnetite.
IRD is the early bird facilitator for both a port and concentrate.
I don't know how IRD will structure the selldown of their stake but they have ALWAYS been even handed with shareholders.
The shares I own are worth more than the current 10 cents each and any dilution I suffer will only be because I can't tip enough money into the future restructure.
I will continue to sit and wait.
