Wow! That is certainly an extreme level of detail.
I point out flaws in claimed fossil fuel subsidies of $11 Billion.
You link to a sales pitch from a company saying that rural Victorian pensioners get a $1,350 annual subsidy for existing off-grid power supplied by "Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Firewood, cooking and heating oil and generator fuel (i.e. petrol or diesel)."
The sales article then complains that the Victorian Government doesn't extend that concession to the off-grid solar systems that the author's company sells.
Fair enough - take it up with the Government.
I wonder though if the decision might have been influenced by the capital outlay problems that might stop those pensioners from installing new solar rather than receive support for existing power arrangements?
The authors quote $30,000+ for their entry level system & also want the Government to provide low interest loans to these pensioners.
