you would be a fool to think that BOQ could make a reasonable profit on their loans compared to their term deposit offerings and even savings accounts!
they charge 3.59% interest on home occupier loans up to 80% valuation and pay around 2.70% on term deposits for less than a year!
they even pay 2.20% for a totally flexible savings account.
