Contrarian views are/and should always be acceptable on any thread, it was the views of a few posters like
@natandsal,
@jantimot @happyonlithium @Taurus65 @eugened that actually encouraged me to do a little more research , which lead to more research to where my stand on the company is today.
The difference is they offered their well balanced views with a plethora on supporting information, links to their research or just plain from off the land life's learnings as working farmers.
The views you posted have/were counter debated with supportive material, whereas you were suggesting outcomes without providing facts and/or comparing another company that had a 249D served on them which had an extended period of time in a voluntary suspension, suggesting GPP will head down the same path. No one knows at this point what the time lines would be like if a notice is served, or what could/couldn't be found if their was to be an internal corporate review.
It was also obvious that a trading halt isn't required if a 249D is lodged for all the reasons I suggested in previous posts, it just doesn't make sense to have a trading halt to hold a meeting. That may sound flippant to what the agenda of the meeting will/could be, but it is just a meeting. Resolutions will be presented and the shareholders will vote accordingly to their preferences.
All IMO
cheers
