Thing is a company has to announce to market anything that an average person would think could materially affect the share price. Confidentiality allows for certain restrictions, though once you start telling a room full of people that goes out the window.
He either lied in the presentation or has misled the market. May not end up being a big deal, but it isn't a good look. Should randoms at a conference in London know more than the ASX?
