2. Compensation to existing license holders
3. Rights to retain licenses and tenements
Nothing wrong with introducing laws, however far too often as is the case here politicians make a .mess of it and don't adequately detail on how to manage parties affected. So it is then left up to judges and courts to clear up the mess.
Minister for resources thought there was no case to answer when the proceedings began. Judge thought otherwise.
When you govern, it's not only those who elected you but all for groups and for all interests.
It is clear that the state government have only theirs and the greens interests in mind.
No doubt when the decision is handed down, it's going to be daming and then up to the ellectorate in November which party they feel is better equipped to manage their interests and run the state without complete bias to one party's agenda.
