While I learnt a new word today I was familiar with the general principles of 're-sampling' (having previously been a holder in AYR when they were focusing on their Horse Well project) so your detailed technical explanation was not required for myself anyway, but I'm sure some others have gained some knowledge
Apologies for use of the word 're-samples' - looks like you geo guys tend to be quite anal about semantics...in future I'll try remember to instead quote:
're-samples of 1m intervals from separate batches over the same interval' - just to be crystal clear!
Imo, there was no need to report these results separately in their own 'market-sensitive' announcement, and in my years of reading thousands of mining company announcements, cannot recall the re-sampling of a
single hole with a narrow width earning such an honor,
especially since:
1) There was no meaningful difference between the 4m composite average and that of 1m splits over the intersection.
2) The results are only from a single hole in a 12 hole program at Contessa, where the other 11 holes reported average to poor results.
3) Based on 2) Contessa is a lower priority target.
4) The hole is over a narrow width.
Another interesting point to note is that many other companies state the word 're-sample' or something similar in the title of their re-sampling announcements, whereas here it's just the ambiguous 'confirmation'.
If you or anyone else can point me to another market-sensitive announcement dedicated solely to a single hole over a narrow width, I'll happily request for my post to be removed.
Yes, it's the directors role to market the company - but there's a fine line between marketing the company and releasing announcements which generate unjustified excitement and overly-optimistic expectations, which usually does not end well in the long-run.
Also, to be fair, if you want to try school people on this forum, you might want to school some of your fellow LSR shareholders when they claim a a single 4m intercept is a 'company maker'.
