Feels too soon.. that said, conceptually I can see the logic in purchasing additional assets if you believe the OP is higher from here. I think management has made it very clear they're bullish on oil. Additionally it seems like just the thing to thwart another takeover attempt, albeit if no real intention to dilute shareholders is there, not sure how long the bluff would work...
