imo i find that charting sometime won't help much unless with combination of various info, such as market sentiment, depth etc.....
If you have couple of chart indicators around with you, you might get a mix of sell and buy signal. However which one is right? Charting do not predict the future, it just indicate a trend. I use moving average. Where when the sp drop below longer term MA, 1 year, up to 5 years or more, the value of this stock will be higher.
In this market, i only buy a share when it drop below 3 years MA. BHP excepted. LOL =P
