Yeh Azure has ‘survived’ as a microcap explorer for a long time (15 years?), but is this a praiseworthy achievement? After all they only stayed afloat due to the constant issuing of new shares. The company never monetized a discovery to fund its existence. Just constant dilution.
Australia microcap explorers are remarkably resilient and long lived, although statistically few have eked out existence for as protracted a period as Azure. AZS could potentially continue doing this forever, they just need to keep the organ grinding (ie convince the next generation of investors to participate in the next raise (eg at a heavily discounted price)
Where most microcaps tend to fall into administration is during the transition to producer. Often the people running exploration outfits lack the business and technical skills required to build and operate a profitable mine
