If I recall correctly, they ask for it so they sync it to your application to avoid asking for EFT details later on - in the event the company were one that pays dividends/distributions. Of course pennies aren't of that ilk but I think the system is configured for a one-fits-all solution
For clarity...I'm not applying for this one but have done other IPO applications via Automic and filled out these details
