You may be suffering from cognitive dissonance, that is OK. This condition presents very real investment opportunities in the real world, people become so wedded to the idea that something is "unethical" that this perception does not allow them to foresee the reality that this unethical thing actually has value.
It is likely that the device you are typing on was powered by mostly coal, your dinners are cooked by mostly coal and that nice warm shower in the morning felt so good mostly because of coal. Just because you have been conditioned to see coal as "evil" it does not change it's inherent utility and the fact that it is a major producer of electricity.
