Hi JD, Not many comments around here, which I suppose it's the way it should be with index investing. I've held VAS and re-invested all dividends for about six years now and I personally feel that it is holding back my overall portfolio performance.
Having said that, I don't think I'll sell, though - average performance still beats below average performance and VAS is my "insurance policy".
Probably a good, safe and forgettable investment for your daughter (lucky girl).
