You clearly missed the point that I was making that there was no compulsion to remain a RC priest.
I can personally vouch for that as I was in a seminary for a while, but made my own decision that such a life, was not for me. I was, of course at that time, unaware of my inner physical needs and desires although they were starting to emerge.
