I was working on some predictive down hole lengths based on this post I put up yesterday, then this announcement came in and provides a check on how reasonable the assumptions appear to be.
Prediction for:
Hole 6 was 295 actual 284.
Hole 7 was 222 (but Hanging wall is shallower than expected so added a probable 60m to that (= 282m) to give my prediction before seeing the result ) actual 273.
Both within 10m of the actual. Hopefully not pure luck as it could bode well for the predictions that 200+m intersections are present for the entire 800m of drilling so far (6600-7400N).
or
Assumptions and issues related to these predictions are in yesterday's post. A major issue is not having anything other than the surface geology to predict the depth of the hanging wall contact.
Hole 13 is a real puzzle.
Hopefully these predictions continue to be +- 10% and the grades are consistent.
